Do any of you ever read the Peoria Journal-Star's "Random Acts of Kindness?" When I'm up visiting the inlaws or am bored at work, I check them out. It's nice to know that there's good people out there despite what we hear about the bad. We almost never hear the good anymore, which is sad. Why do I want to raise my daughter in such a negative world? Because I know that she will be the one making the difference.
Here's the link to the online compliation: http://www.pjstar.com/news_record
Have you given/received a random act of kindness lately?

I read some of these. They are great!
Here's a good one for you. Last year sometime I was driving through Wendy's with my boys in the back seat. I think I was talking to them, distracted, and I accidentally tapped the car in front of me. Great, I thought, we'll have to exchange info now and they'll probably try to claim I damaged their car. So they finish at the window, and I expect to see them stop in the parking lot so that we can talk, exchange insurance, etc. But they just drive away. Then I pull up to the window and the cashier tells me that they PAID FOR MY ORDER and said to "Have a nice day." I was floored. It was so awesome.
That's awesome!
