So, now that the "official" email came out about a half-hour ago, I can officially say that I'm being promoted again. My boss (the VP) resigned his position effective yesterday, which I already knew about the evening before. I had a mini-meltdown, but I'm okay with it now. I think the place will go on in a positive direction. I have to take on some additional responsibilities, but I'm ready for it. I'm a little intimidated with the interim VP (the President's husband), but he's always full of jokes and will do a good job.
We'll see what happens come Tuesday. :)

Oh wow. I hope everything goes okay! So if you're being promoted, are you the new vp?
I thought things were getting better there? Are they not?
They are getting better; I think my boss wasn't right for the job. He didn't jeopardize our numbers or anything, he just wasn't working out at the VP level.
