Whew! What a week! I was so busy, I don't feel I accomplished ANYTHING. But, according to the big boss, I did. We did. Our office got so much done, it was awesome! Go us! And, just when I had time to breathe, the boss calls- on a Saturday night- with something she needs. Now. And it's okay, but it only took 20 minutes.
But here's the kicker. A reason why my choice to return to Mac was reaffirmed: I put that I was working on Facebook, and immediately got messages from current Mac students, wondering why I was working. Then another popped up that made me cry; he just wanted to thank me for giving him a tour in 2006; his choice to transfer here was the best thing that ever happened to him. I responded with a humbling thanks, but also told him that he was the reason I joined Facebook in the first place.
I love my job.
