Wow, these past 10 years have flown by...there have been some major milestones in my life and I just sat down to think about them the other day. I thought I would share them with you and if you have more to add or want to do your own, go for it!
2000- rang in the new year with some church friends. Watched my wristwatch start working backwards in Western Civ. (no joke!)
2001- Watched in horror on my TV in my dorm room as plane #2 crashed into the World Trade Center. Survived my 21st birthday.
2002- had a bad break up; 8 months later fell in love with Mr. Right. :)
2003- Became the first in my immediate family with a college degree (and only the 4th in my entire family). Got engaged. Got an awesome job.
2004- Got married. :-D
2005- Bought our first home.
2006- Found out I was pregnant with child #1...weeks after taking a new job.
2007- First child (Avery) was born. Went back to the awesome job from 2003.
2008- Got my first promotion (took long enough!)
2009- Found out I was pregnant with child #2. Got another promotion. :)
2010- Had second child (Brennan) and made our family complete.
I can't wait for the next 10 years.
