Well, no sooner than I thought that the potty training thing was a bust, Avery decides to poop on the potty and pee twice on it today!! YEAH!!! Now, we have been promising her these Woody and Buzz Lightyear dolls from Kohl's; the $5 ones that helps St. Jude children...but we weren't prepared for having no gas money to head to Springfield this weekend (I have to save it for my bridesmaid dress fitting Tuesday), so we went to Wal-Mart since they had a TON of Toy Story toys and a few toys that would substitute for the others. I just didn't plan on going to Wal-Mart twice today...haha. Luckily I live 1/4 mile away and it wasn't that big of a deal. I just had to give her the instant gratification otherwise she'd see right through the bribe and we'd be back to square one. Luckily the other dolls weren't that expensive.
I've told her if she continues to go on the potty this week, I will buy her Hello Kitty big girl underwear. (Thank you, TJMaxx for having them for $4.99 instead of $10 at Target or Wal-Mart). Hopefully we can finally get through this and be a big girl! Keep your fingers crossed!
