Tomorrow I go in for my final sonogram. Well, it's only my 3rd so it's not like I've had one at every appointment, lol. Tomorrow will answer so many questions for me, I've been having awful sciatica and really want to know how big the boy is and what position he's in so I know what to expect for the last 6-7 weeks. Since our hospital doesn't do VBAC's (and my insurance is leery about it), we will set up the date for our baby's birth day. Sounds really weird, but I already went through a c-section and know what to expect and I'm okay with it. Plus, the care I got at the hospital was phenomenal, the nurses were so caring and actually just sat in my room with me, getting to know me as a person. It was a cool first experience, I hope the second is just the same.
Bryon had a little bit of a freak-out moment last week; with all the sciatica problems (basically I'm falling down all the time), he was afraid that the baby may come sooner and we weren't really prepared for it. So he went on a shopping spree and bought some things that would be useful when baby arrived (new bottle nipples, some bibs...the basics). He even let me buy the diaper bag I was eyeing for a long time, but didn't want to spend $40. But, it's big enough that when we travel to family I can cut down on the amount of luggage we take. We also finished up the baby's room except for curtains that my mom is making. We're also looking at Goodwill and Habitat for Humanity's stores for a rocking chair/recliner for the room. If anyone knows anyone getting rid of one, let me know...I'll be willing to pay a small price for one!
That's about it; I'll know more details tomorrow. It's getting close!
