Wow. It's been a while since I posted on here. It's my "busy" season, since transfer students typically don't look to transfer until right about...now. Whew. That's good though; I have to get more transfers than freshman for the school year, and frankly, I don't know how I'll get there. I'm close though, really close and so close I can taste it. My competitive nature has kicked into high gear because I'm solely accountable for transfer students (freshmen are divided between all 4 of us) and I'll be damned if I don't make my goal. That's pretty much consumed most of my life at the moment.
Avery's getting bigger and smarter by the day. I can't believe all the stuff she's taking in! She can count out loud to 10, which I am so proud of. Her vocabulary has tripled since she moved up to the Two's room, and she can actually have conversations with us where we understand everything. She loves to draw Mickey Mouse, and loves to play "kitchen" and have tea parties. She's growing up way too quickly. :(
Bryon and I finally had the "conversation." Well, not only about budget and other things, but about maybe having another child. He actually brought it up one evening, which completely caught me off-guard, but I know deep down that both of us are on the same page and want another child. So, we'll see what happens. I had to change some hormone prescriptions for cyst issues I've had since high school, so I had to have that talk with my OB/GYN to make sure it wouldn't inhibit or hurt anything...and it won't. So, maybe in a few months I can announce that we're expecting, but we'll have to wait and see what God has in store for us. :)
I think that's it for now. Tomorrow's Father's Day and I didn't have time this week to get Bryon's gift (the topsy-turvy tomato plant thing), but it sounds like he wants Wednesday evening "off" to go see the new Transformers movie, so I'll probably tell him to do that. Avery and I made him a card, with Avery's scribbly Mickeys all over it. I think he chuckled for an hour.
Well, time for bed. It's past my bedtime and I'm tired from shuffling new students around all day. :)
