I got a TON of stuff done today! I cleaned the house (including my much overlooked bedroom), washed the car, and even threw away some old Christmas stuff to make way for the bags upon bags of deals my mom bought me. I dusted places today that I probably haven't touched in 3 years...yikes! I forget about the space on top of the trim on doors and stuff; my mom would be proud of me. I did feel guilty that I took Avery to school on my day off, but she finger-painted a picture and went outside to play! Sounds like she had a good day too; except she was crabby. The word both teachers used was emotional. I don't know if she's just not feeling well or if she's getting to that stage in her classroom where the teachers don't have to "hold her hand" all day; I'm not sure. I try my hardest to spend the bulk of my time at home with her. Regardless, I'll just keep an eye out for the next ear infection.
Bryon asked me what I wanted for Valentine's Day tonight at the dinner table. I honestly don't know; our 5-year anniversary is in May and we're going on vacation a week after that. I really, really, really want a 3/4 carat eternity band, but I know that's way out of our budget. He wants a gas grill, so I figured I could save enough for that. I'd really just like to save the money so we could redo our kitchen or use it at the outlet mall in Osage Beach on vacation. I don't know; I just hope we have a good family dinner without a toddler meltdown and that we get to go to Quincy this weekend so we can look at some furniture. :)

If you are going to Quincy for furniture, check out the Factory Direct furniture store. They have good prices and good furniture. And if you pay cash, you can talk them down in price. We got our bed and mattress there with our wedding money. They also have couches and stuff like that I believe.
