Holy cow, I decided to take some time and blog. I guess it would be easier if I just numbered the updates.
1. I'm 18 weeks preggo today. What does that mean? I actually look halfway pregnant now and people aren't afraid to ask how far along I am. It also means a lot of bathroom breaks overnight. Baby is kicking, kicking, kicking. I still feel good (other than this stupid cold) and wished that my first pregnancy was this easy; I might have liked being preggo more...wait, not really.
2. Avery is 2 1/2 years old. Likes: Mickey Mouse, Alvin & the Chipmunks, Cheetos and playing outside. She's a bit of a tomboy, and we're working on her personal-social interaction at school. She likes to stay around the teachers but has one close friend; a little red-headed boy named Briar. They're too funny together. She's also in a grown-up bed now because 1) we had to convert the toddler bed back to a crib and 2) she actually goes to bed on her own now instead of throwing a fit. We're working on the potty-training thing. She's shown some interest, but I figure I'd wait until she's really interested to make the process faster and smoother.
3. Bryon is still Bryon. Haha Men really don't change much, do they? He's getting over bronchitis and mono, but that's about it. He's tired of watching Mickey Mouse and Alvin & the Chipmunks and has begged for a 2nd TV. I say no.
That's about it. It's travel season for work, which means crazy driving schedules and late evenings. I have a lot to accomplish by Christmas (personal goal) because come February and March I am going to be swollen and tired all the time. Bryon says to take it easy, and I do, but I really have some drive to get my yearly goals accomplished by the time I go on maternity leave (which will be the full 12 weeks this time). The only thing I'm really worrying about is how to balance my time between baby #2, Avery, and my evermore demanding job.
