I had a good Mother's Day. I did more work than I wanted to, but I can only look at a dirty room for so long. I got a great book with short essays on Motherhood, and the check for my Def Leppard/Poison/Cheap Trick concert ticket in July. :)
Today, I'm home with Avery. Our first stop is to go buy some vanilla so we can play outside without being attacked by the buffalo gnats...the reason we didn't play outside yesterday. Then we'll eat yummy food and take a nap and she'll help me vacuum. (Lesson learned: not to vacuum until the END of the day.)
